Ablative Lasers

Ablative LASERs are mainly represented by carbon dioxide (CO₂) lasers and Erbium lasers. Both of these forms cause superficial peeling of the skin, resulting in its resurfacing and the creation of a new layer of healthy and youthful skin.

Lasers of this category provide excellent results in the treatment of superficial wrinkles due to aging, as well as in acne scars, which are a difficult problem to treat and often burdensome for a person’s psychology.

After the procedure, a recovery period of approximately 10 days away from activities is required, but the results are impressive.

The choice of the specific technology is made after detailed discussion and clinical examination, with the aim of maximizing the result. A major development is the new fractional laser beam emission technology, which minimizes the recovery time and the undesirable effects associated with older laser technologies.

It should be noted that for acne scars, LASERs are the treatment of choice if the patient aims for dynamic and permanent solutions.
