The Aegean Team in the Official ISAPS Newsletter

Participation in the Aegean Team
It is a great honor and pleasure for me to actively participate in the annual crossing of the Aegean Sea as a member of the charitable non-profit Aegean Team.
We visit remote islands using inflatable boats, and beyond the group’s contributions in many areas such as educational, sports, and cultural activities, we also offer our medical services free of charge. A team of physicians from 18 different specialties examines the residents of these islands and provides clinical examinations, microbiological tests, minor surgical procedures, and above all a sense of security to people who live so far from major urban centers.
The residents of Donousa, Koufonisia, Amorgos, Astypalaia, Patmos, Kastellorizo, Schinoussa, Irakleia, Anafi, Pserimos, Lipsi, Arkoi, Agathonisi, Fournoi, and Thymaina welcome us in the best possible way, host us warmly, and accept our services with great relief.
For many years, the Aegean Team has been offering its services and humanitarian work on a voluntary basis.
